 I was his mistress

He came and left

According to his wishes

Sex was a ritualistic indulgence

But it had lost its sheen

Some days he wouldn't come

Feeling listless in the affluence

I used to venture for life around

It was one of those days

When I met Shyam

On the beach

I was sitting alone

Soaking the sunset

May I join you, he asked

I didn't respond

Many used to approach

Finding me alone

He sat beside me

Minutes passed into hours

With no words spoken

The sound of the waves

Only echoed

I will wait for you, he said

As I started leaving

I came back with a sense of uneasiness

Couldn't figure out the feeling

I didn't go the next day

But my heart felt heavy

As if something was pulling

I ignored and continued

In my space

Next time, when I strolled to the beach

To fade into the sunset

I found him there

Same spot

Intrigued, I sat beside him

I have been waiting for you since days, he said

I didn't reply

We kept sitting till the moon whispered from the skies

As I was leaving

He asked, what's your name

Meera, I replied

From that day onwards

We faded into the horizon

With not a word spoken

It was like I found my Shyam

And he founded his Meera

A cosmic intervention of souls.

I let him use me
There was no love between us
Pure lust
My thirst
And his hunger

So finally we met
He started shivering
For he felt intimidated
Which was the usual case
They all said "you have that aura which intimidates"

So we started the play
Neither of us expecting
But what started as a casual encounter
Was a revelation in itself

He filled me
The volcano which had become redundant, for ages
The ashes between my legs
Soaked the mattress

We went on for hours
My legs, trembling in the air
I was completely spent
I could barely walk
For days

We met several times
Every episode was exhilarating

I let him use me
For I wanted to be used
In flesh.

Those few errant strands
Glued to her salty flesh
Mesmerized my sense

Like a moth to fire
I went closer to her
And licked her neck

What the...startled she hit me on the face
The slap further fuelled my rage
Pinning her on the steel table
Spreading her legs
I inserted myself
And chewed her neck

The cacophony of the crockery
The clash of the utensils
The heat of the kitchen
Didn't matter

As the food burnt somewhere
As the customers waited for their order
I ate her
Till satiated.

As he cradled her neck
Over the balcony railing
With civilisation streaming beneath her
She kept fading in and out
Was it the marijuana
Or the erotic asphyxiation

The ecstasy she achieved
Was beyond orgasmic
She felt light
Drained
Her knees buckled
He laid her on the patio

Beneath the starry lights of the skies
Above the illumination of mankind
He went between her thighs

And that's when
She lost herself
Completely.

That woman haunts me like none, he confessed to his wife

Why do you say so
When you have been with many women, his wife asked

She's no ordinary woman, he replied
You have to read her
To realise her fire
You have to see her
To feel her sensual prowess
A thirst, difficult to be quenched

Maybe she is aware of my feelings
But we both are tied by social threads

I try to get over her
When I make love to you
Visualising her face
But she blurs my passion
To ashes

That woman
Disturbs my existence!

I have millions of reason
To let you back in my life
Still I reason out the reasoning
Of not letting you back
For the agonizing pain
I have been

I have inked every moment we composed
In every season
And those words
Haunt me
Not to get swayed away again
In your treacherous waters.

Why do your eyes slip to my chest
While we converse

Why do you lag behind
While we walk
I know you check out my curves

Why do you maintain dignified distance
When we both are agitated
With lascivious urge

Still, I won't make the move
I will leave it to you
To thread your youthful candour
To my simmering fire.

She was my portrait for the day

If anything

I couldn't concentrate

She wasn't the first nude

I had to work upon

But she was indisputably

The first woman who was sheer art

From those wavy tresses

Caressing her earthy flesh

To those ripe mangoes

Embellishing her curvy waist

She was a muse par excellence

She was aware of her magnetic spell

Yet she posed

As I tried to paint her in red

But my hands trembled

Frustrated, I told her

I can't do justice to your form

She simply smiled

And said, inhale the fragrance I disseminate

From the aroma of my hair

To the nectar of my breasts

Plunge in the secrecy of my navel

And inhale the aroma of my mystical forests

Inhale

Inhale my boy

Till you smell of nothing else

But me

Only then you can essay my essence
