To gauge the intensity of your fervor
No lingering kisses
No love making, to define our togetherness.
Just you and me
And night long for us, to escape.
Where time ceases to matter,
Only our defining presence enveloped in darkness
Where the undercurrents shape as to what lies ahead.
One night, is all that I need with you,
To convert my purple prose into cathartic poetry
Where only our souls connect.
