Read me

Read me my love, read all that I stand for
Not just for glamour or my enticing sexuality
But all that has transformed me.

Beginning from the death of innocence
In the nameless terrors defined as men!
To the innumerable deaths that I have died
Phase by phase by their perverted presence.

The silent cry of innocence
To the nightmares of being conspicuous.
Unwarranted attention trapping my life at every stage.
Brave failure in love leading to collapse of self belief
Slicing my faith, with a voice edging on grievance
Why me?

Read my love page by page,
Don't miss an alphabet
I have endured it all
Detesting men in every form who just wish a piece of flesh.

Till destiny brought us together
Giving me a hope
That some souls like you read beyond the printed lines.
