Sin Within

Few strands of hair on the bed
Bears testimony that you were here
Beside me, making your presence felt.

The crumpled sheets
The struggle of us seeking out each other
The stained sheets
The ashes of our extinguished furnace.

All an attestation of our denuding desires.
Yet the lingering fragrance of our glorious encounter bewitches me for more.

To affirm you not just for few hours
But for a lifetime
Where the prurience of our bodies are cleansed in cathartic sin
A flaming sin not just from outside
But from within.
