Kissing integrity

She stood alone on the street
Pouting her lips
Dusky in season
Raw in reason

Waiting for her call
In the sweltering temperature
As the windless ambience
Summarized her figure

I sauntered towards her feigned gesture
She guided me wordlessly to her murky zone
Where it was me with my brimming desires
She with her artless experience

Mechanically she stripped
And waited
But her girlish flesh failed
To ignite my manliness
She was there
But not present

Moving closure, I kissed her chaste pout
Caressing her contours with unsullied intentions
A kiss, that shattered the prostituting façade
Her dark expansive eyes
Shimmering with ache
I searched for comforting answers
But I had nothing to say

We stood consumed
In timeless moments exchanging nothing
Except strangers lost
She in her melancholy
Me, in my wantonness
The monetary rebuff to the fruitless
Yet soul stirring engagement
Left us bereft

I left her
Betrayed of her earnings
But awakening a soul

I returned next day
And many days thereafter
But couldn't find her, anymore.
