I have waited for you

All these months

For reasons unknown

And tonight, when you finally knock on my door

I wonder how to reciprocate your fervor

Even though every pore of mine craves

To be signatured in your name

I do not know how to welcome you

To my abode

All that we have written so far

All that we might write together

It will be heady

I have a feeling

Your youthful libido

My blossomed feminity

Somewhere between thirst and ecstasy

We both have waited, for each other

I was waiting for tonight

And tonight, when you have finally arrived

I oscillate

For I know, tonight will be the genesis
