Tears choke my heart

Reminiscing all the scars

I have carried so far

I question why

My silent screams pushes me to despondency

Where I struggle to breathe

In the entangled web of lies

So much deception all around

I can't even hear the sound 

Of respect and love

Everyone is wrapped in plastic reality

Saving their image

While maligning yours

I try to touch my truthful poetry

So blurred it has become

In this enveloping farce

So much deception

All around
