Moist Verses

 

I was tired of missing you

My eyes

Searched everywhere, for you

Like a mirage

You were there

I felt tormented and distressed

Waiting for you

And then something snapped within

I cut the umbilical cord

Between you and me

For like cancer

You were spreading

And hurting

I had to snap it with you

For you were leading your life

While I was dying every moment

I felt lost

Without you

For you were home to me

But now

I no longer wait

I have chartered on a solitary journey

Where I bid farewell to our love

With moist lips

And soaked verses.
