Don't leave, she begged

Crying inconsolably

He hugged her tightly

His chest thudding with emotions

I know there's no future between us, she said

But the beautiful moments we created now

I can't simply live with that

He remained silent

For he felt choked

He didn't want to leave her

And then they finally met

Whereas she will choose to live in solitude

His shirt got soaked

So did his heart

He realised then

There will be none like her
