Finally the showers graced 

I played a few romantic songs

And drenched myself 

In the monsoon essence

When there was no one to love 

I draped my naked flesh

And felt in love

With myself 

In a world of one night stands

Love has lost it's significance 

But I still believed in it

In spite of being betrayed time and again

The showers have dimmed 

So has my elementary feelings

I have comforted my soul
