And that said it all 
We both laughed about it 
He never said much
But in those crisp remarks
I could sense his feelings

From JNU classmates 
When I avoided him like a fly
To the occasional banter
Over the years
As I felt secure 
He won't be like others 
We came a long way 

I felt his fondness for me
But he maintained distance 
For he didn't want to loose me as a friend 

And that's how the narrative continues....
