There was a kind of dazed look in her eyes

Something so lifeless

So dead

When I had sex with her

I picked her from Sonagachi area

She was standing apart from the crowd 

While the hooting and invitation was literally intrusive 

Why I selected her 

I even dunno

She looked malnourished when I unravelled her layers 

There was something in those her that were literally chilling 

At some point I thought of letting her go

But my baser instincts seized me

When I offered her money after I was done

She declined 

Buy me a meal, was all that she said

I took her to roadside restaurant 

And gave her food

With trembling hands she ate

Folding her hands 

She left 

Leaving me forlorn.
