A Part and the Whole

You have become slimmer since we last met...he said
I chuckled thinking 'thanks to your friend'
You were the one who were instrumental in bringing him to the forefront.

He ravishes me like none other.
Calories don't burn,
Rather we burn the hours.
And that's how I have been reducing.

For you the purpose was just an experience.
Nothing more nothing less.
For me you were a part,
Who nudged me towards the whole.
And that's how this ends or something began.
