 She always wore আলায (alata)

সংখা পালা (sankha pala)

Whenever we made love

Even though she was a widow

I never questioned her

But sometimes I felt the desire of being loved

In marital finery

Remained unqueched in her

So বোধি (boudi)

Always dressed up in marital regalia

Whenever we met

Usually in the afternoon when her in laws were asleep

She was the typically fierce Bengali woman

Who preferred her ride

Rather than spreading her legs

Even I loved staring at her

From beneath

She was like goddess Kali in rage

When she was done

She used to change to her widowed threads.
