And I kissed him
Even if he was startled, he didn't resist
It had been years of restricting
The undercurrents had been intensifying
I knew he wouldn't take the lead
Besides the immense age difference
He felt intimidated by my silent presence
Every time he tried to make eye contact
I avoided him
For I didn't want my eyes to betray my desires
We both were aware of each other's timings
While I went to the terrace at 4 a.m everyday to water the plants
He used to study there
The undercurrents that hung in the air at that hour were literally suffocating
But that day, I just went ahead and kissed him
He gave in
And melted in me
And we kissed and kissed
Like famished souls
Conveying our desires through hushed moans
As the birds tuned to our melody
As the sun smiled on our skin
A beginning...
